Delta will launch a nonstop route between Atlanta and Riyadh on October 23, 2026. The airline says the service will be its first direct connection with Saudi Arabia and the first nonstop link between the United States and Riyadh operated by a U.S. airline. Daily flights last through October 30
The route will operate every day from October 23 through October 30. Delta then plans to reduce the schedule to three flights per week, making the first eight days the only period with daily service in the announced timetable.
Atlanta will serve as the operating hub. Travelers starting elsewhere in the United States can connect through Atlanta, but the nonstop applies only to the Atlanta–Riyadh city pair. The route therefore gives Atlanta-origin passengers a direct option, while later departures require matching travel dates to the three-weekly schedule.
Four cabin options on the Airbus A350-900
Delta will use an Airbus A350-900 for the service. The aircraft will offer Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main cabins, allowing passengers to choose among four cabin products when booking the new connection.
Delta Studio entertainment will be available onboard. SkyMiles members will also be able to use fast, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi powered by T-Mobile when the service is available. That qualification matters: connectivity is tied to the onboard service and should not be treated as guaranteed on every flight.
Halal meal options will be available during booking or before travel. This gives passengers who need that option a clear point at which to request it, whether their itinerary begins in Atlanta or includes a connection there.
A new option for Atlanta-based travelers
Delta describes Riyadh as a major Middle Eastern financial center and a destination for international conferences and regional government institutions. Those characteristics help explain the business and institutional role the airline intends the connection to serve, but they do not expand the nonstop service beyond Atlanta.
Delta says the Riyadh route will contribute to a global network of more than 300 destinations across six continents. The airline is also launching temporary SkyMiles Award Deals with offers in all cabins for travel to Riyadh.
For passengers able to use Delta’s Atlanta hub, the main change is the addition of a nonstop route to Riyadh. The main limitation is the schedule after October 30: travelers must check which three weekly operating days match their plans, alongside cabin availability, meal requests and the availability of onboard Wi-Fi.
Delta’s announced service begins on October 23, 2026, with daily operations ending after October 30. Anyone booking beyond that initial period should verify the timetable and availability for the exact travel dates before purchasing.
